Why did you choose Bamboo over Cotton or Polyester?
We chose a premium bamboo blend because it's exceptionally soft, breathable, and comfortable for everyday wear with an AFO.
Unlike traditional cotton socks, our bamboo blend is designed to help manage moisture while maintaining a smooth feel that slides comfortably inside a brace. Combined with nylon and spandex for durability and stretch, it provides the balance of comfort, performance, and long-lasting wear we were looking for.
What makes Pandafo socks different?
Pandafo socks were designed specifically for AFO wearers, not adapted from a standard knee-high sock.
Our signature Targeted SMO Buffer Zone™ strategically places medium cushioning under the foot and along the back of the sock where many AFOs and SMOs make contact.
Instead of adding bulky padding throughout the entire sock, we focused cushioning where it's needed most while keeping the rest of the sock lightweight and breathable for everyday comfort.
How long are the socks?
Pandafo socks feature an extra-tall design created specifically for AFO wearers.
The added length comfortably extends above most AFO calf cuffs and can be folded over the brace for additional coverage and a secure fit.
How should I wash my Pandafo socks?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat.
To help preserve the softness and performance of the bamboo blend, avoid bleach and fabric softeners.

Pandafo socks are thoughtfully designed in the United States and manufactured by our trusted production partner using our custom specifications and quality standards.

Will these work with my brace?
Pandafo socks are designed to be worn with many AFOs, SMOs, and similar lower-leg braces. Because every brace is different, fit may vary depending on your orthosis.
Are these regular compression socks?
No.
Pandafo socks are designed for everyday comfort with AFOs and are not compression socks.
Can I wear them without an AFO?
Absolutely!
Many customers enjoy the extra cushioning and soft bamboo blend even when they're not wearing their brace.
